Steiff EAN 036811 35cm Fully Jointed, L/E Mohair Teddy Bear "Snow White". This beloved fairytale princess is a Limited Edition of only 500 pieces Worldwide, and comes boxed with her own numbered certificate. "Snow White" is the second edition from Steiffs, Fairy Tale Collector Series, Cinderella being the premier piece. She is made from the finest snow white mohair. Her paw pads are made from white felted wool, decorated with hand stitched claws. Her "feet" are flat so that she can stand unaided, and be able to show off her opulent gown, in its full, magnificent, glory. She has bright, sparkling eyes with a hand stitched red nose and mouth. Now to the masterpiece that she is wearing. A very elaborate and ornate ensemble has been created for this magical piece, using only the finest materials of pure gold-shimmering silk, organza and cotton velvet. Beautifully sparkling, genuine Swarovski beads, have been hand stitched onto her petticoat and dark blue bodice. Delicate and fine embroidery detail embrace her bodice and petticoat, while tiny mother of pearl buttons adorn her blouse. Between her paws she holds the "poison" red apple, except this one is made from pressed felted wool complete with leaves. A true show of workmanship and a labour of love have gone into this exceptional piece, which is certain to become a well loved family heirloom. She comes with Steiffs trademark gold-plated "button in the ear" with white tag and red print, surface washable. Deans 12" (30cm) L/E Cotton Club "Joey", Fully Jointed Teddy Bear. Joey is a Limited Edition of only 50 pieces worldwide, making him very difficult to come by. He is one of four members belonging to Deans Cotton Club. Like his friends, Joey has been made entirely from high quality woven cotton. It is soft and dense with a lot of texture, yet remains very tactile. He is made using a traditional warm biscuit colour. He has twinkling eyes that shine out from his delightful face, with a gorgeously glossy, stitched chestnut nose and mouth. His beige paw pads are made from reversed fabric, revealing the underside giving an almost patterned look. The right paw pad features his fabric label "Deans Rag Book Co. Ltd". He wears a woven cotton ribbon tied as a bow around his neck. The ribbon has a background of dark blue, with a single golden biscuit, cotton plant leaf motif, going all the way through.
