Going back to numbered bags for a minute. I always forget how nice numbered bags can be when I’m using them. I just get annoyed that I built something so quickly. The difference ends up being huge though when you don’t have numbered bags.

literally it can stretch out forever if you’ve got to do that much more sorting. sigh, just random I suppose.

    My most recent frustration with non-numbered bags was the Custom Car Garage. Fantastic set. It’s got great parts and a fun design. However it took _forever_ to put together.

    I like the numbered bags feature. When I want “digg” the parts I simple ignor then, but normally I use the feature. The worst experience was the Taj Mahal.. sort all the parts before the building phase wasn’t really good.

    Numbered bags are what’s wrong with kids these days.

    Get off my lawn!

    @Mark – hehe

    @Nathan – hmm it was so long ago when I built the custom car garage. I didn’t even think about its bagging system.

    @Lluis – luckily the only time I’ve had to build the Taj Mahal, I did it with like 10 people. Can’t beat that for sorting.

    I’m not a big fan of the numbered bags. Unless I’m building in the car (road trip anyone) or in a hotel.

    At home, I have a LEGO Table my father built for me one year. It is about 3 ft square, with a 1.5 inch lip around it. For building in the car, I have a small (lap-sized) tray with a 2 inch lip on it. Handy!

    But doesn’t the steering wheel get in the way?
