This weekend, Meg and I finally bought season 4.5 of Battlestar Galactica. We started watching the final episodes at about 5 pm and finished at about 3am. we both cried a bit, but we’re kind of glad to finally know what happens.
It was a good ending I think and there really weren’t many loose ends. I think the only way you’d see loose ends in it is if you’re not willing to accept that God exists in the battlestar universe. Its all very interesting.
Andrew Bulthaupt from BZPower is hanging out with me in the office today. he’ll be talking with some folks from the BIONICLE marketing department, and he won’t be able to tell you what he said

Behold my power. I say something like ‘pirates is going to only be a one year theme and will cycle in and out like other themes that don’t happen every year’ and what happens. the community flips out. hehold the power of the steve and his ability to send people into a frenzy. I should say something like – wait till you guys see the new black we’re using next year, and see where that takes us.

People think that I look like this guy for some reason. He comes with the Agents Robo Attack set, which I thought I owned a copy of but I think I just sent it to Seattle for BrickCon. So whoever wins it in a few weeks just know…that was mine first and I gave it to you.
anyways, I get to go look at houses tonight. Here’s hoping for a big LEGO basement, I’ve gotten to the point where my LEGO room is so crammed I don’t like building that often. at least its not hot anymore though.
so remember when I said that I was super psyched about Blackest night 1. Well that was really good, and we’re up to #3 now and it is still super great.

well my off the wall calendar is starting to dwindle in pages. I have the World of Warcraft ‘Year of Fear’ calendar. it documents bosses from all of the game in scary ways. anyways though, it seems that the year is getting away from me as I feel this actual calendar is over half gone.
Since I have no concept of time really thats all I’ve got to go on at this point. How much of the calendar is left. Anyways, I’m still getting ready for BrickCon which happens in just a couple of weeks. Bring your NERF guns my friends…and your LEGO models too I guess.
So we had to get our car battery replaced this morning so we were stuck at the Enfield mall for about an inordinant amount of time. there’s a target there so I went to go see if the new Nerf Raider was in stock yet. Low and behold, there was the spot on the shelf for it but no product yet.
I found and employee and she was able to track them down in the back. I realized that I was a goober because I was buying the first one from that Target because they hadn’t even unloaded them yet. I guess thats one way to know you have an addiction to a toy.
The gun itself is very cool. it makes a very satisfying sound when you cock it and the big drum and rapid fire are quite nice.
so those of you going to brick con. all your nerf are belong to me.

holiday weeks always throw me off becuase it throws new comic book day back a day. this essentially ruins my week and I’ll tell you why. wednesday is always that day in the middle where everyone is desperate for a reprieve and I’ve become accustomed to Wednesday now included a fantastic moment in the form of new comics. this week not so much, but at least thursday has now been fantastic.
I got some sweet statues from a friend of mine at DC comics which made me all giddy. he sent me the Adam Hughes Zatanna and Black Canary statues which made me super psyched. I’ll post a pict sometime.

Life’s been busy lately. I’m actually very fortunate that there’s about a month break between Brickfair and BrickCon because I was getting wicked tired.
Jim was in the office this last week and we got some good preliminary stuff put together for the rest of the year and into next year.
After Brickcon there’s LEGO Kidsfest here in Hartford. Right now there’ll be some great participation from PennLUG and NELUG. Sounds like I need to throw another pizza party.
The best part about throwing pizza parties on the LEGO campus is that I get to order from my favorite pizza place, which also happens to be a place I can’t get at home. Its called Fazzio’s and its in East Long Meadow Mass. yummy, I would move to East Long Meadow just so I could get pizza from that place more frequently.
anyways, meg and I are off to Rhode Island this weekend to take a look around. we’ll of course have to stop by the Mystic aquarium to visit the sea lions and balooga whales (GLEE!).
